Background Information:
As of 2012, Gary Allen Ferraro was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Trust Company Group based in Nevis and a director of one of the Group’s companies, Guardian Trust Company (Asia) Limited (“GTCA”). GTCA was incorporated in Hong Kong and was placed into liquidation in January 2013.
Ferraro attended an interview with the SFC following a statutory notice served on him in July 2011.
The SFC has information that Ferraro departed Hong Kong on 5 August 2011, shortly after his interview at the SFC. Various attempts to contact Ferraro since then have not been successful. His latest whereabouts are unknown.
We wish to contact Ferraro in connection with suspected unlicensed activities in Hong Kong.
