Contract Executive Secretary (2-Year Contract) - Secretariat and External, CEO’s Office

Duties & Responsibilities:

To serve as personal secretary to the Commission Secretary and Chief Governance Officer (CS&CGO), and provide a full range of secretarial duties and administrative support to the Commission Secretariat.  Examples of tasks include:-

  • liaising with internal and external parties to coordinate business affairs according to the needs of CS&CGO;
  • Assisting in day-to-day operations and file management.
  • drafting simple correspondence, organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, visits and speaking engagements.
  • organizing meetings of the Board, Executive Committee and other committees, including preparation of agendas.

Requirements: 

  • Diploma or above with formal secretarial training.
  • Substantial secretarial experience in the legal, accounting, banking or finance fields, or with public bodies.
  • Strong interpersonal, organization and coordination skills, with demonstrable experience in dealing with senior executives and their offices.
  • Able to take on multiple tasks, know how to prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skill.
  • Possess a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity.
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
  • High proficiency in computer applications, including bilingual word processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint softwares.
