The candidate will be a web and digital tools specialist who will be responsible for designing and maintaining the IFEC websites and digital resources including online calculators and the IFEC Money Tracker apps. This role reports to the Head of Campaign and Digital Marketing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, maintenance, analysis and promotion of the IFEC interactive tools, mobile app and e-resources to support the digital delivery of investor and financial education to the public and target segments.
- Manage day-to-day web publishing, content and data management, quality control and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with external service vendor to implement website and digital tools development, enhancements, updates, and new features as needed.
- Monitor website performance, conduct audits, and implement necessary improvements regularly to ensure optimal speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Optimize website content, metadata, and URLs for search engines to improve organic search rankings and drive more traffic to the website.
- Monitor website analytics and generate reports to track key performance indicators, such as traffic, conversion rates, and user engagement.
- Ensure and monitor website ongoing security according to the company policy.
- Lead an external service vendor on the support and maintenance of IFEC’s website cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Manage and/or assist with financial education projects, including all aspects of procurement and outsourcing jobs to external suppliers.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in web administration and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in related disciplines and with minimum three years of work experience in web design or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of content management systems particularly Teamsite, and experience in managing and updating websites using such system.
- Familiarity with web analytics and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, to monitor website performance and user behaviour.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve website issues promptly.
- Solid understanding of website security measures, experience working with AWS technologies and proficiency in web development languages is a plus.
- Well-organised with strong project, people and budget management skills.
- Detail-oriented with effective project management skills and good communication skills.
- Good command in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
