Duties and responsibility:
The Commission is looking for a high calibre candidate to fill the above position.
As a Management Associate, you will assist in our work on sustainable finance, in our participation in standard setting and policy formulation of international organisations, and in identifying international regulatory and sustainability issues with domestic implications.
You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals working with regulators and other stakeholders globally and locally to assist the Commission in implementing its strategy in international standard setting in relation to capital markets and sustainable finance.
Requirements:
To succeed in this position, you must have a university degree and professional qualifications in Finance, Economics, Law, Environmental Science or another relevant discipline, preferably with at least one year of solid post-qualification work experience.
Familiarity with sustainable finance regulatory and market developments, and the principles, standards and regulatory issues initiated by international bodies which include IOSCO and the Financial Stability Board will be an advantage.
You need to be a team player and to multi-task. You also need to possess strong analytical skills and excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese with proficiency in Putonghua as an advantage.
