Manager - Information Technology (Technical), Corporate Affairs

Information Technology Department is actively seeking a Manager with a solid background as a Solution Architect. The ideal candidate will combine good interpersonal and communication skills with a strong technical aptitude. The primary responsibilities will include the analysis of business processes, design and proposal of architectural solutions, and collaboration with various technical teams and stakeholders to implement these solutions. Good technical knowledge and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Conceptualize and create prototypes using diverse technologies to illustrate business ideas and engage in new project/technology initiatives.
  • Lead a compact team to enhance and support various office workflow applications and collaboration platforms.
  • Manage external vendors to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and business users.
  • Preserve and enforce governance standards across existing platforms.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the IT industry, focusing on application development, AI, or Generative AI.
  • Profound project experience with:
    • - React, Next.js
      - Python, Java
      - OpenAI, RAG, LLM Agents
      - Linux, Docker
      - Oracle DB, MongoDB
  • Additional knowledge in the following is advantageous:
    • - Graph databases such as Neo4j, or similar.
      - SAS (Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio).
      - ElasticSearch
      - Cloud technology: AWS, Azure
  • Demonstrated ability to make significant contributions and add value, with a history of leading cross-divisional work across IT and business units.
  • Proven leadership abilities complemented by a strong sense of ownership.
  • Self-driven, action- and result-oriented, with a proven ability to work collaboratively and influence others.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in the finance and regulatory industry is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken, is required.
  • High level of responsibility and impeccable integrity.
