6. Contract Manager (2-Year Contract) - Secretariat and External, CEO’s Office & Central Services

Duties and responsibility:

This is an opportunity for someone with corporate communications, public relations or market development background, who has a reasonable understanding of the financial markets, to help promote the SFC’s initiatives, engage the SFC’s stakeholders, heighten public understanding of the organisation’s work and build its reputation as a globally respected and influential regulator.

Reporting to an Associate Director or Senior Manager, your primary responsibilities would include:

1. Establishing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and developing strategies to effectively engage them in pursuit of the SFC’s objectives.
2. Organising corporate events for stakeholders engagement.
3. Assisting with preparing speeches, articles, lines-to-take and other communications for senior management as needed.
   

Requirements:

• Minimum eight years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations or market development, preferably in the financial industry or the public sector.
• General knowledge of Hong Kong’s financial market and its regulatory framework for the financial services industry.
• Excellent communication skills, including a strong command of written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an added advantage.
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
• A good team player, well-organised and able to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
