Contract Assistant Manager (2-Year Contract) - Enforcement (Strategy and Technology Team)

The Strategy and Technology Team of the Enforcement Division is seeking a motivated and high-calibre data specialist with sound experience in leveraging data for business intelligence and process reengineering. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our team of professionals in the Enforcement Division of the SFC. This role will interact closely with various functional teams to address operational challenges and deliver new insight.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collect, integrate and interpret structured and unstructured data
  • Conduct quantitative analysis to facilitate the team’s risk modelling
  • Extract multi-dimensional operational data for management reporting
  • Collaborate with various teams to prepare documentation on existing programs, perform process reengineering and revamp, and enhance underlying data architecture. 

Requirements:

To qualify for this role, you should have a university degree, preferably in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field. You are expected to have at least two years of experience in business data analytics, along with a strong proficiency in SAS Enterprise Guide (particularly SAS Process Flow and Query Builder) and SAS DATA / PROC step. Knowledge and experience in Python, Power BI and web scrapping techniques will be an advantage. Familiarity with operational efficiency, financial fraud analysis and behavioural segmentation will also be an advantage.
