Legal Executives - Legal Services

Duties & Responsibilities:

An excellent opportunity to join the statutory body which regulates the securities and futures industry and promotes the development of the securities and futures markets in Hong Kong. This legal executive role involves providing a range of support to lawyers in the Commission’s Legal Services Division across a wide variety of litigation and advisory work. The key focus will be to lead and manage the division's litigation support team to provide substantive assistance to prepare cases for court and tribunal hearings.

Requirements:

You must have: excellent people and project management skills and experience; experience in court-related work including knowledge of applicable rules and procedures in civil and criminal proceedings; good attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule; good communication skills; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good computer skills in Word, Excel, Acrobat and Powerpoint. Previous experience in document management system and experience of managing clerical staff will be an advantage. You will either have a law degree or be a qualified Legal Executive with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience in a law firm or in-house.
