Manager - Corporate Finance (Post-IPO Case Team)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to Director - Corporate Finance, the candidate will be responsible for proactively reviewing and monitoring announcements, circulars and other disclosures made by listed companies, and making further enquiries in light of these reviews in order to identify inappropriate corporate behavior. One objective will be to ensure that listed companies keep the market properly informed and address failures to do so with a combination of education and appropriate enforcement measures. Similarly the candidate will seek to identify any activity detrimental to the interests of investors and address this appropriately. The candidate might also be involved in some policy projects, thematic reviews and casework leading to enforcement action.

Requirements:

An ideal candidate should possess a university degree, and probably with professional qualifications in Law or Accounting but strong, direct relevant experience in a corporate finance area would also be considered. He or she should have significant experience in corporate finance activities from their work at securities and futures companies, investment banks, regulatory bodies, professional law or accounting firms. Experience in equity analysis would be valuable. In-depth knowledge of the regulation of listed companies is also highly desirable. Excellent conceptual, analytical, interpersonal, written and presentation skills are essential for the position.
