Mr Lo is a Non-Executive Director of the Securities and Futures Commission. He has been Director of Italade Technology Holdings since 1987. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of both Synnex Technology International (HK) Ltd and Synnex Distributions (China) Ltd until 2013.
Mr Lo started his career in Government service as an Administrative Officer and served as Deputy Secretary for Trade and Industry in the Trade and Industry Branch of the Government Secretariat.
Mr Lo serves on a number of community service advisory boards and committees in a personal capacity. He chairs the Governance Sub-committee of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and is a member of its Exchange Fund Advisory Committee.
Previously, Mr Lo was Chairman of the Standing Commission on Civil Service Salaries and Conditions of Service and the Independent Commission on Remuneration for Members of the Executive Council and the Legislature, and Officials under the Political Appointment System of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He was also a member of the Public Service Commission, the Advisory Committee on Post-service Employment of Civil Servants, the Standing Commission on Disciplined Services Salaries and Conditions of Service, and the Standing Commission on Directorate Salaries and Conditions of Service.
Mr Lo graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a BSc (Hons) degree.
Mr Lo is Chairman of the SFC's Remuneration Committee. He is also a member of Investment Committee, Budget Committee and the SFC (HKEC Listing) Appeals Committee.
